Charlie joined the GPM team in September of 2023 as a Client Support Specialist and brings over seven years of experience working with investment advisors and their clients to execute financial planning solutions. He has served in various roles, including new business processor, office administrator, financial advisor, and servicing advisor, which will help provide a high level of support to clients.
His extensive experience in the retirement planning world includes determining client risk tolerances and goals, creating projections for retirement , and portfolio selection. He also has broad knowledge of account logistics: executing new account applications, processing the transfer of assets, and oftentimes working alongside clients and their custodians to accomplish tasks on their behalf.
Charlie got his start in the financial services industry by joining the same insurance firm his father worked at in 2011. After starting to learn the company business model, he obtained his life, accident, and health insurance license through the State of Michigan in 2015, and went on to obtain his Series 65 Investment Advisor license in 2021.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys spending time with his wife of almost two years, Alex. They are looking forward with joyful anticipation to the birth of their child, whom they are expecting in March 2024. He enjoys spending time with his siblings and family who live in north Oakland and Macomb counties. He also is a podcast fan, enjoying shows such Today, Explained (Vox), Land of the Giants (TheVerge), The Power of Zero (David McKnight), some more lighthearted titles such as Decoding TV and Everything is Alive, as well as some religious shows such as Gospel in Life from Tim Keller.
